A Difficult Decision - SLYSA Cancels Remainder of the Spring Season

by SLYSA Media

The Saint Louis Youth Soccer Association has decided to cancel the remainder of the SLYSA spring 2020 season as a precaution against the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This difficult decision was made in order to limit potential exposure to the Coronavirus as the health and well-being of all SLYSA players, coaches, families, and others involved in the league are our priority.

Clubs and individual teams participating in the SLYSA spring 2020 season will receive a refund for any games not played, but approximately 20% of the scheduled games were played prior to the restrictions put in place due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Registration for the SLYSA fall 2020 season will open up on May 28th, 2020 and the application link will be posted on www.slysa.org.

Further details regarding the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the league will continue to be shared via official SLYSA communication channels. For the most up-to-date information, please visit our website at www.slysa.org or follow us on the following social media sites:
