I know there was some displeasure over the movement of teams to playing 11v11 one half season early, however, if the game that was played at the Lou Fusz soccer complex between the LFSC Growlers and the LFSC Goal Den Girls (both U11 teams) is any indication of the level of play for this year, I look forward to an outstanding season of development and excitement.
This was a great game with both teams moving the ball around the field and using skill to get the ball in scoring positions.
Congratulations to the Growlers who won the game three to one, and thanks for the great level of competition you always provide for our team. I think we could sell tickets to the games we have against each other.
