New Travel Services
We are happy to announce two new services for all SLYSA teams and their
families. The first service is help with team travel to tournaments;
near and far. The second service is low cost travel for your personal
and family travel. Both these services are made possible in part
because of the marketing muscle we now have due to the number of teams
playing in SLYSA. It should be noted that the rates and fares you recieve from our website will be as cheap or cheaper than those you recieve from Expedia, Orbitz, etc.. The main advantage to using this site is that SLYSA will recieve a portion of the travel commission on every transaction process through the site. These monies, in turn, will be used to support your complex.
Team Travel Service
The team travel service lets your team manager contact the SLYSA group
travel representative by telephone or email for tournament travel. You
specify the travel dates, room requirements, etc. and your group travel
representative will do the work of finding hotel accommodations. She
can also provide air travel and car rental service. There is no charge
for this service and you will find that the hotel and travel
accommodations are among the least expensive for the accommodations.
Hopefully, this service will save you both time and money. By the by,
you can also use this service for travel for sports other than soccer.
You can use this service for any group event including tournaments, MRL
games, friendlies, etc.

Personal and Business Travel Service

In addition to team tournament travel, you can use the SLYSA travel
service for personal, group or business travel. We now have a SLYSA
travel web site that you can get to by clicking on the SLYSA travel
header to the left or here. The web site provides a search engine for
hotels, cruises, air travel, auto rental, group travel, etc. Use this
web site to find the best bargains for all your travel.
There
are two advantages to using these services. The first is that you are
likely to find the best accommodations at the best price at no cost to
you. The second is that the travel agency donates a portion of the
travel agent commission to SLYSA. This donation will be used for
capital improvements to SLYSA soccer facilities. So now, you can get
the best travel accommodations at the best price and a portion of the
travel commission that you would have paid anyway is used to improve
the facilities that your kids play at when they come back home. Sounds
like a winner to me!
